Every photoshoot is an opportunity to tell a story, and the right props and equipment can make all the difference. Successful visuals and branding not only capture attention but also convey our brand’s essence. Today, we’re excited to share our content creation essentials, along with some fun fall extras!

Every brand photoshoot is an opportunity to tell a story, and the right props and equipment can make all the difference. Successful visuals & branding not only capture attention but also convey your brand’s essence. Today, we’re excited to share our content creation essentials, along with some fun fall extras!

1. Photography Gear

  • DSLR or Mirrorless Camera:

We use high-quality cameras to ensure crisp, clear images that highlight every detail.

  • Tripod: 

A sturdy tripod allows for steady shots, especially in low light.

  • Phone:

    Use what you have! We usually set up one of our phones to get footage of the shoot, and use one of our phones to take photos in addition to our cameras. This is also where the tripod comes in handy. 

2. Lighting & Backdrops

  • Reflectors:

To bounce light and fill shadows, reflectors are essential for achieving the perfect glow.

  • Softbox or LED Lights:

For indoor shoots or cloudy days, having additional lighting options elevates the quality of our photos.

  • Backdrop:

This creates a neutral space to start with your shoot. You can add color and texture and make this backdrop work for you, but it transforms any space.

3. Branding Props

  • Branded Signage: 

We always include props that feature our logo or brand colors, helping to reinforce our identity.

  • Stationery and Accessories: 

Items like notebooks, pens, laptops, plants and more help to showcase our services in different ways and create depth and texture in our photos.

4. Lifestyle Elements

  • Food and Drinks:

Seasonal treats like pumpkin spice lattes or baked goods not only look great but also evoke the essence of fall. At Spritz, we like to include our take on a seasonal Aperol Spritz, but coffee is almost always present as well. 

  • Personal Touches:

Items like sunglasses or hats can add personal style to your photos.

5. Extras

You have to remember the odds and ends that bring it all together. Tape, ribbon, a clothing rack, scissors, a printer on site, and really anything else you can think of to make your day easier!
